Our mission

To transform the traditional healthcare ecosystem — and advance health for all.

As a nonprofit, we build and advance programs across the lifespan that address the world's most pressing health challenges — chosen on the basis of health need rather than market opportunity.

  • Institutional Architect

We create the framework through which academic, governmental, and industrial capabilities work together.

  • Nonprofit by Structure

No shareholders. Surplus reinvested in the mission. Programs chosen on health need.

  • Disciplined Ambition

We are early. We understand that. We are approaching an unusually significant opportunity deliberately.

Our values

  • Scientific Integrity

We uphold the highest standards of science, ethics, and transparency.

  • Collaborative Spirit

We believe complex challenges require diverse perspectives and trusted partnerships.

  • Global Perspective

We think globally and act responsibly in every community we work in.

  • Commitment to Impact

We focus on measurable outcomes that improve lives, strengthen health systems, and reduce their environmental burden.

  • Future Focused

We invest in innovative solutions that anticipate future needs.

Our story

A vision born from science. A mission driven by humanity.

NGB was established by scientists, physicians, and strategists who recognized that the traditional healthcare ecosystem was not built for the problems it now faces. We created NGB to change that — by advancing innovation, strengthening collaboration, and expanding access to the advances that improve human health. We established NGB as a nonprofit so that the question of what to work on could be answered by health need alone.
